"on line" at The Lyceum Gallery at Suffolk Community College, Eastern Campus is a group exhibition curated by Annemarie Waugh. The exhibition brings together the work of Joo Lee Kang, Scott Bluedorn, and Holly Wong. Through paper, fabric, bark, and suspended forms, the artists explore line as something that can be held, bent, draped, and inhabited.
This exhibition looks at contemporary drawing as an expanded practice, one that moves beyond the page and into physical space. The works explore how line can become stitched, folded, suspended, and transformed into something that shifts with light and movement.
I’m honored to have my work included in this conversation about the possibilities of drawing and how a simple line can become a structure, a gesture, and a living form. Featured above is a photo of me working on “She,” a drawing installation in my studio which will be included in the show.
