new work at root division in san francisco

Secret Garden 2,” Gouache, colored pencil and graphite on paper with collaged ink paintings on yupo, 48″ x 48″, 2021.

I am so thrilled to be participating in “Weave, Bundle, Cut, and Layer: Artists with Material Instincts” at Root Division in San Francisco, curated by @lisa_mccutcheon The show is up from November 5th – November 30th. Gallery hours are by appointment.

From the press release: “This dynamic group exhibition features 21 artists who share the ability to transform non-traditional materials into a personal visual language — a language that illuminates the beauty and reflection to be found in the mundane. Fabric, rubber, screening, wood, shards of paper, and discarded plastic are just a few of the materials these artists gather, manipulate, and resurrect.”

Hoping you can join me and view the work of these amazing artists. My piece “Secret Garden 2” is featured in the exhibition and I can’t wait to share it with you. 😀
